Electrical BIM Designer

Job Description:
This is a full-time position offering a great salary, a benefits package, and a fun and friendly work environment! Responsibilities : o Generate 2D installation and detail drawings from 3D sketches or models; Design 3D models utilizing red-lines from the field team or the BIM Coordinator.
o Effectively communicates with project team and field team.
o Convenes with and works directly under the BIM Coordinator and/or project personnel.
o Aids in updating drawings files by printing them and archives old drawings.
o Requires minimal QA/QC for personal drawings and models as per standards and codes.
o Logs daily tasks; performs downloads and uploads for each project to keep progress current.
o Assists in project set up and maintenance.
Requirements : o At least 2 years of experience utilizing Navisworks Manage and can run clash detection efficiently.
o At least 5 years of experience utilizing Revit and AutoCAD for 2D drawings; At least 2 years for 3D population - can produce 3D models at an advanced level (assist & train others with 3D modeling and 2D drafting as per standards and codes.
o Must attend 4-5 hours of monthly training regarding electrical construction and software.
o Advanced electrical knowledge in the following areas: Basic common codes, such as supports maximums and sizing of pull cans.
Equipment clearances Ability to make recommendations on constructability and the best methods; read blue prints (at an advanced level).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
